Zhang Zhilei vs. Scott Alexander

Round 1: Zhang towering over Alexander. We’re talking a whole head of height advantage here. Zhang probing with his jab as he works to corner Alexander. Short combo by Zhang and Alexander is keeping his defenses up. Alexander throws a right to the body. Jab by Alexander. Zhang answers with a straight left. Another body shot for Alexander. Good right by Zhang slips around the defenses. Straight left drops Alexander. He is eyes are open but he looks completely dazed and the referee has seen everything he needs to see.

Marc Castro vs. Pedro Vicente

Round 1: Castro slips in a left hand right on the button. Vicente not intimidated, he throws out a jab, but eats a body shot. Castro looking to land that left hook. Castro with a quick combo capped off by a body shot. Vicente trying to control distance with the jab, but Castro is walking him down with volume. Triple jab from Castro. Hard right hurts Vicente. Castro rifles in a couple of body shots. Castro staying aggressive, but Vicente backs him up with a hook. Castro right back inside throwing with power.

Round 2: Crisp jab from Castro to open the round. Vicente not offering much and what he is throwing out there isn’t landing clean. He eats another clean jab. Vicente has the gloves up, but Castro is giving him no room to breathe. Vicente wades into an uppercut from Castro. Vicente scoring with the occasional right hand, but Castro is dictating the action and landing with combinations. Nice left hook by Vicente.

Round 3: Castro connects with the jab as he approaches, lands a combo, then slips a Vicente punch and catches him with a hook. Vicente hits Castro with a solid left hand. Vicente to the body, but he eats a head shot as he’s coming in. Castro to the body. Castro goes body-head with his left hand. Right hook lands for Castro. Vicente with a short uppercut. Castro connects with a big 1-2. Vicente just can’t get out of the way of Castro’s straight punches. Vicente sneaks in a body shot. Castro ends the round with a flurry as he has Vicente on the ropes.

Round 4: Castro picking Vicente apart as Vicente seems to be waiting for a big counter. He finds one, hitting a right hook. He follows up with a left hand that clips Vicente. Castro back on the offensive, just pumping that jab in Vicente’s face. Castro slips a couple of punches and lands his own. Vicente to the body, Castro answers with a glancing left on the chin. Nice jab by Vicente. Castro rips the body, then pops Vicente with a jab. He wants to punish that body. Vicente pops Castro with a jab.

Round 5: Vicente sneaks in a counter left to start the round. He bangs a solid right off Castro’s head. Vicente to the body. Castro goes back to his jab. Vicente with another good right hand. Castro to the body, he wants to open Vicente up. Good combo for Castro as he gets Vicente to the ropes. Right hand to the ear has Vicente off balance. Castro smells blood, but Vicente circles out of there. Castro throws a left to the body. Vicente goes body-head. Jab by Vicente, he’s loose even though he’s down on the cards. Looping right by Vicente scores.

Round 6: They trade jabs. Castro doubles up on the jab, then slips a punch to set up a body shot. Uppercut to the body for Vicente, but Castro shrugs it off and advances while landing punches. Castro’s body work has been on point in this round. Right hook by Castro.
