MMA Fighting has Taylor vs. Serrano results live for the Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano fight card at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday evening.

Galal Yafai vs. Miguel Cartagena

Round 1: Yafai coming forward to start. Left hook from Yafai, Cartagena looking strictly to defend. Yafai bullying him against the ropes and in the corner. Straight left down the middle for Yafai. Then a shot to the body. Cartagena wants to counter. Yafai is busy and he is landing. Cartagena has to turtle up as Yafai swarms him. Glancing uppercut by Yafai. There’s a good counter on the button for Cartagena. Yafai just tags him with a left and follows up with punches and bunches. Straight punch hits Cartagena square on the chin. more straight punches from Yafai, though he’s a little off balance.

Round 2: Yafai right back in Cartagena’s face. He’s not overextending, just landing short punches with both hands, not giving Cartagena any room to breathe. Cartagena with lots of head movement and the occasional counter. Another big straight left for Yafai scores. He’s finding every opening and slipping punches in. Cartagena just hanging around on the ropes. Referee asks him to show something and he at least manages to get out of the corner. There’s a slip just as Cartagena gets hit with another punch. Referee warns him again he needs to show something. Cartagena’s arm gets tangled in the ropes, so the referee gives him another break as Yafai was pressing forward. Cartagena makes it out of the round, but his corner makes a smart decision and waves this one off for him.

Franchon Crews-Dezern vs. Elin Cederroos

Round 1: Crews-Dezern comes out swinging hard right away. Cederroos staying relaxed, targeting Crews-Dezern with straight punches. Crews-Dezern just going for home run shots. She lands a hard right in an exchange. Crews-Dezern goes body-head. Cederroos sticking with 1-2s. A left hook clips Cederroos.

Round 2: Cederroos scores first to start the second. Now she’s putting on the pressure, giving Crews-Dezern less room to wind up. Crews-Dezern hits one to the body, two to the head. Cederroos wants to advance but walks right into a couple of bombs. Crews-Dezern chases Cederroos looking for a finish. Cederroos circles and counters, but Crews-Dezern catches her again with a hard right. Crews-Dezern connects with a hook before the end of the round.

Round 3: Cederroos pumping that jab now. She’s been the more accurate puncher in this round. There’s Crews-Dezern with a quick combo inside. They’re trading. Cederros goes body-head, but Crews-Dezern fires a left hook in. Crews-Dezern rips one to the body. She’s keeping the output high through three rounds.

Round 4: Doctors taking a look at Cederroos’ bloody nose before the round starts. Overhand right cracks Cederroos. Powerful counter right by Cederroos and Crews-Dezern felt that one. Cederroos hits the body, another overhand right from Crews-Dezern. Crews-Dezern flicking out her jab now, that sets up an overhand right. Left hook scores for Crews-Dezern. Better round for Cederroos, but she’s just not landing enough clean shots.

Round 5: Cederroos hits Crews-Dezern with a good right. Cederroos can’t string together more than two punches without getting hit by that overhand right. Crews-Dezern hits a left hook. She swings wild as she muscles Cederroos into the corner. Cederroos htis a couple of straight punches. She’s scoring, but not getting out of the way of anything that Crews-Dezern is throwing. Nice body shot by Cederroos. She stays in close though and gets tagged with two head shots.

Round 6: Crews-Dezern has been accurate anytime Cederroos closes the distance. This is becoming a brawl. Crews-Dezern’s jab has been effective. Cederroos scores during a tight exchange. Good production from Cederroos here and Crews-Dezern has to back up. Left hook by Crews-Dezern scores. Cederroos fires from range but still gets caught by the power right.

Round 7: Cederroos with a good body shot, but Crews-Dezern is right there with a flurry up top. Crews-Dezern to the body and then a high hook. That jab is working for Crews-Dezern as she backs up. Slight drop in pace for Crews-Dezern, Cederroos finding a home for those straight punches.

Round 8: Cederroos ups the pressure, she defintiely knows she’s behind. She scores, but Crews-Dezern just pushes her into the corner. Crews-Dezern with a couple of big hooks. She jabs the body and Cederroos ties her up. Cederroos zinging in punches now. Crews-Dezern fires back with her right. They’re just standing and trading now.

Round 9: Cederroos staying on the offensive. She’s getting inside on Crews-Dezern now and those Crews-Dezern power shots aren’t landing quite as cleanly as they were earlier. And there’s a big right across the chin for Crews-Dezern. Then she hits a straight right. Cederroos has slowed down now. Crews-Dezern three good hooks that get through. Jab keeps Cederroos at bay.

Round 10: Crews-Dezern throwing that heavy leather with less than two minutes to go. She dips down and blasts Cederroos with a right, but Cederroos fires punches in. They are still scrapping with a minute to go. Left hook from Cederroos forces Crews-Dezern to circle out quickly. Crews-Dezern digs into the body, Cederroos answers in kind. Cederroos with two good shots. Fun fight!

Liam Smith vs. Jessie Vargas

Round 1: Both men starting at distance. Vargas darts in for a body shot. They’re looking to set up their jabs. Smith hits a counter to the body. Vargas getting his jab going. Right hand from Vargas gets past the defense. Right hand by Vargas as they exchange. Vargas to the body. Smith pursues with his jab. Nice uppercut by Smith. Vargas loading up some punches. Right hand for Vargas. Quick 1-2 by Smith. Smith wants to cut off the ring but Vargas clinches his way out of the corner.

Round 2: Vargas backs Smith up with a 1-1-2. Vargas’ hand speed is picking up. Vargas to the body, Smith keeping his defense high and tight. Smith with a combination as Vargas backs up to the ropes. Vargas goes to the body. Smith cracks him with a liver shot. Vargas on the defensive now. They are throwing and Smith goes for the tie-up. Smith cracks the body. Straight right for Smith. Smith lands an uppercut.
