Jiri Prochazka’s eye-popping stoppage of Dominick Reyes earned him two performance bonuses at UFC Vegas 25.
Prochazka will take home a pair of $50,000 checks for “Performance of the Night” and as one half of the “Fight of the Night.” Despite his loss, Reyes will get a $50,000 check on top of his show purse.
With a spinning elbow that laid out Reyes at the 4:29 mark of the second round, Prochazka represented two-thirds of the bonuses handed out for Saturday’s event, which took place at UFC APEX in Las Vegas and aired on ESPN+. The remaining bonus went to Giga Chikadze, who picked up his sixth straight UFC win with a first-round TKO of veteran Cub Swanson. Afterward, Chikadze called out former featherweight champ Max Holloway.
Prochazka, 28, has knocked out 25 of his 28 opponents in his nine years in pro MMA.
